I was at a Jaguar workshop last week when a guy turns up with a Mark 2 Jag he had just bought. I was nearly pissing myself laughing as the leaper on the bonnet , (This is the chrome Jaguar that is screwed to the bonnet)

If you are repairing a bonnet which requires exposing some of the bare-metal, what's an inexpesive way to seal the work-area so rust doesnt form if you have to leave the job for a few days? Anything oiley may be soaked up by any filler?
