| XF steering lock repair | 11 Oct 2006 04:59 GMT | 17 |
All, some thieving bozos recently wrecked the ignition lock on my floor-shift XF, and after I replaced the barrel it got into the habit of unexpectedly locking on me after a hard right turn. Made the first test-drive an interesting experience, I can assure you. :(

| New NSW Personal Plates | 11 Oct 2006 01:55 GMT | 27 |
The new Personalised plates set-up in NSW is bullshit. It used to cost around $180 one off to get black and white plates made. Now it costs $50 to get them made and $100 per year. What a con!!! Yet another way for the bastards to steal money from us.

| When to buy a new car? | 10 Oct 2006 12:35 GMT | 18 |
Been giving some thought about when to replace our 2001 Astra with something new. Originally I'd been thinking somewhere in the range between 2007 and 2009, but the fact that it clocked up 150,000km the other week has got me thinking sooner rather than later. This is

"For example,***** there is no crude wing across the back of the 599 to provide downforce****, rather two graceful ‘flying buttresses’ parallel the C-pillar. These don’t just provide a visual lightness to the rear three quarter of the car; they also provide more than 100 kg

| LPG Rebate | 09 Oct 2006 23:56 GMT | 12 |
We purchased a Ford AU on the 26/7/06. It was fitted with LPG (Dual Fuel) two days prior to picking up the car. Would we be eligible for the LPG subsidy? I think the subsidy was introduced early August. I am hoping we may still be eligible.

| Commordore Tyre Questions | 09 Oct 2006 21:45 GMT | 1 |
A while ago, my local mechanic talked me into letting him fit a set of 4 Formoza Federals to the VT Commy wagon. I usually go to a local TyrePower franchise that has always served me well, but this time, seeing as the car was going to be in for a couple of days for some major ...
