| 2 door FE or FC convertible | 15 Oct 2006 23:47 GMT | 1 |
There is a pale aqua rag top getting around the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. Great looking bodywork. I have been trying to work out how it was done. Maybe a ute or panel van matched up to a rear cut from a sedan? Has anyone seen it?

My Father is contemplating buying a UHF radio to put into his motor home, he already has a 27MHz AM/SSB from years ago but isn't installed and has not been used for years. He's prepared to buy a UHF Radio rather than install the 27MHz but he

| Auto Elecs: Connecting 12V Equipment to a 24V system | 15 Oct 2006 12:38 GMT | 39 |
Here's a question for any experienced Auto Elecs. I have some specialised 12v equipment (about 30A total current draw on a 12v system) that I need to install on a 24V truck. What would be the ideal way to install this equipment?

| VL commodore head gasket | 15 Oct 2006 12:16 GMT | 11 |
I've just blown a head gasket on my old VL 3.0 Ltr. I'm following the Gregory's manual and only got as far as trying to release the aircon drive belt. It's got a tensioning pully with a single bolt to adjust it. I've removed the bolt completely but the pulley still won't budge.

| Customers cars at Rare Spares | 15 Oct 2006 09:21 GMT | 2 |
A little bored the other day so I was using Google's image search and I put in HQ Monaro and I found myself at Rare Spare's "customers cars" section. I was a little surprised to see my car there, with another persons name and a photo I posted years ago to Motorcities.

| EL Falcon rough idle | 14 Oct 2006 07:15 GMT | 1 |
My EL has always had a habit of coughing and spluttering into life if I start it on a warm day and it hasn't been used for 12 hours or so. So it'll start no worries, but then idle quite rough for the first ~3 seconds, then after that will idle fine. When the weather is cold ...

| Suzuki Swift Sport - looks pretty good value | 14 Oct 2006 03:33 GMT | 3 |
OK, I have kind of got my heart set on the new Suzuki Swift Sport. At $23,990. A bit of a bargain when you put it up against other cars of the same ilk (eg. Polo GTI, Fiat Punto, Citroen C2). Can anyone please convince me otherwise, given that it's priced right within my budget?
