I have an AU2 Forte with a dodgy gearbox,   also have a spare EL Falcon (ex
cab) with a good gearbox..  can I do a straight swap ??
Was told by a friend that because the EL is an ex cab that the gear box/fly
wheel setup will be different so it wont go in..

     I have bearing cap which has a alloy thrust washer on one side
which sits in a machined groove,which in its previous instance slipped
around broken a tab from the casting on bearing cap and wrecked the
trust on the crank and with some wiggling slowly slogged the semi circle ...

I caught the train to work this morning and a dirty smell spread through the train.
The elderly lady seated in front of me had sh.t herself. Realising this she got off at the next station.

ok i know this car is a bit old any known problems apart from noisy diffs
and head gaskets and how is a noisy diff fixed?? i have found a 87 ti in
great condition needs a few things done to it  the dealer wants $2200 for it
as is paint in very good condition no runs at all and ...
