I think my beloved Hilux is going to be a write off. Cresting a hill earlier today at around 100km/h I saw a wombat (yes, in the middle of the fkn day) running diagonally across the road right at me. I've never seen them do this or even run that fast.

How does one prevent the theft of a spare wheel on a 4WD? You've got something worth several hundred dollars sitting there practically begging a thief to take it - I'm surprised it doesn't happen more often?? Is there any way to secure the wheel to prevent theft?
