Just saw an advert for a Jeep 2006 Laredo Wagon 5sp auto 4.7 injected with almost 22,000klms on the clock for $30,000. I thought I'd do some checking and found the new price is $54,000+ on roads (making it about $57,000) and the "going" 2nd hand price according to Red Book is ...

| Musings on power outages. | 29 Jun 2007 02:08 GMT | 63 |
After having no power for around 40 hours, and this not being the first outage lasting for more than 2 hours this year, I'm seriously considering an auto-start genset, converting the HWS to LPG and installing an LPG space heater.

| 'Vauxhall' foot tyre pump? | 29 Jun 2007 02:05 GMT | 25 |
I have a elderly-looking foot-operated tyre pump kicking around the place. The foot pedal (cast iron) has 'Vauxhall' on it, and appears to be original, not something removed from a car. The air pump head and base are cast bronze, the frame aluminium. The whole thing is very

| Jeep Compass AKA Jeep FUGLY | 28 Jun 2007 13:20 GMT | 27 |
Why they never called this a FUGLY instead of a COMPASS is typical Jeep. What an ugly looking piece of sh.t. Anyway, I'm taking the 6-sp manual Turbo diesel for a test drive next week as at least they have the sense to have a powertrain of this calibre. Claiming 6 litres per ...
