Interesting product placement for toyota04 Jun 2007 04:57 GMT11
I watch that movie Blood Diamonds the other night. Interesting how every
time a pack of gunmen arrive at a village to massacre little kiddies they
always seem to be driving Hiluxs with the big TOYOTA on the rear featuring
prominantly in most of the shots. Did Nissan pay them off or ...

I've got hold of an EH station wagon with a pretty good interior but
plenty of body rust.  Nothing big enough to stick a finger through but

Anyone here driven a Lotus?03 Jun 2007 08:48 GMT25
Just wondering, because I've spent lunchtime reading some reviews of
the Lotus Europa S, but I get the impression I probably won't fit into

sound?

Jackaroo Clutch of Mystery03 Jun 2007 07:34 GMT23
Today is the first time I drove it after my trailer-towing drag race
adventures, so maybe I've hurt it. Not that I was giving it hell or
anything, I was doing normal changes and just flooring it once
everything was hooked up.
Thrust alignment of wheels03 Jun 2007 06:41 GMT43
I had new tyres put on the car and JAX in Wetherill Park, NSW said they
would do a thrust alignment on the car.
As I am not an expert on cars and I have never seen a thrust alignment done,
I agreed.

Engineers cert reqd for turbo?02 Jun 2007 20:31 GMT14
I was looking at a hilux that had a diesel motor and aftermarket turbo. It
had an engineer's certificate that was issued in QLD. I've been told this is
not a requirement in Vic, is this true? Apparently it applies specifically
for diesels and for petrol motors it is required. This ...

a piece of the steering mechanism is in the way. I have been told that
Intersting thing today ...02 Jun 2007 12:23 GMT1
Had to go rescue an AE92 ToyCo 'rolla that had a spark plug blown out,
literally. Hit bonnet
leaving I suspect a small dent in, and had to use screwdriver to open
gap again.
