New Jaguar XF price US versus AU31 Aug 2008 01:21 GMT14
US : 4.2L V8 (base model there) costs $49,950.  This equates to about double
the price of a well-specced Honda Accord, which is *very* reasonable.
The equivalent model here is $134,850, which is 2.7 times the US price.  For
that money you could get 3 Accord V6s and a 1.5L Jazz.

If someone said to you, here is $250,000 cash, go and buy yourself a car and
keep the change....what would you buy/do?
I would buy myself a new LPG fitted Patrol (only because I reckon they drive
better than the Landcruiser) with a Johnno's camper trailer and take twelve
