First off: Sorry for the crosspost.
On Thursday morning (after elbowing my way through the bargain hunters) I
purchased a Pure car stereo from Aldi, for the boss's 1989 Telstar. It cost
80 Bucks. It's a bloody rip-snorter. It plays CDs, CD-RWs, MP3 disks, USB

Does anyone but the hardcore Aussie V8 buyer really care about which wheels
drive their car.
The vast majority of cars on the road are now front wheel drive, including
the Mitsubishi 380, Toyota Camry and some great handling smaller cars from

US : 4.2L V8 (base model there) costs $49,950.  This equates to about double
the price of a well-specced Honda Accord, which is *very* reasonable.
The equivalent model here is $134,850, which is 2.7 times the US price.  For
that money you could get 3 Accord V6s and a 1.5L Jazz.
