the standard front disks on EF falcon appear to wear out quick, 80,000kms and there is high ridge on the edge. How do after market disks hold up in comparison, e.g. DBA? Are they any good? Also what pads for hard city driving?

I need to conver the rear end of a VN commodore to rolling only (no diff, the rear weels will not be driven). Also the diff section needs to be removed because of clearance issues. What is the bes way to go about this and still be strong and relable?
