New shock suggestions?30 Apr 2009 13:07 GMT27
I recently have my Mazda 323 serviced (90000km) at the dealer
and was told that the front shocks and bumpstops need replacing.
Doing both would cost $750. Does anyone have any suggestion where
I could get them replace for cheaper (other then the dealer)?

Flashlube "Injection"????????29 Apr 2009 10:44 GMT28
Recently I bought a Landcruiser on LPG, it has fitted a "Flashlube" system
which claims to prolong valve life by spraying some oil into the upper
cylinder area.
Can anyone tell me if any special type of oil is needed for this unit?

Chrome Show27 Apr 2009 09:44 GMT4
Did anyone see the new Chrome show on Channel 7 on Saturday?
It isn't bad. Not a new car in sight.
Goes on about older cars that have been either restored or improved.
Not bad.

Dual battery systems/alternator query:26 Apr 2009 01:28 GMT34
Just a few questions mainly to those who are familiar with some of the
cheaper brands of dual battery systems:
Its fairly clear I could use a dual battery system, and I'm wondering
about which (if any) of the cheaper systems are worthwhile bothering

ATTN NODDY (and possibly ATHOL) - lpg component query.25 Apr 2009 01:00 GMT1
Hey Noddy some time back you posted (I think in response to Yvan from
Serbia) a link/picture of what is sometimes called an 'eco-vac' (iirc) -
basically a device placed in the main feed line of the lpg hose, and
another hose outlet to hook to manifold (or possibly ported) vacuum.

Wow.. being 6 years since I was last here, I had forgotten just how
popular Lexus is here in South Florida.  The most popular luxury car
here is the ES350 - I've seen hundreds.  These photos should sum up
the popularity here...
