I have never had one...
Is it to go from drive to neutral whenever you want, or only when the car is
stopped and at idle revs? Is it bad to rev the car in neutral and slam it
into drive while high rev'd?

I hate on line road quizzes I always get 1 or 2 wrong
out of 30. They ask and present questions I can't
picture in real life.
