About 5 years ago, I had a local parts store (I think it was Chief auto
parts) check some ECU's for me, to make sure they were good.  Well, my ECU
is suspect again, but now I am being told that "they no longer do that".  I
can't help thinking  "Ahhh come on...the ECU's are still ...

Opinions on one vs the other, if the A 6 has the 300 hp 4.2 vs. the S-8  360
hp 4.2. ?   Assume 2001-2003 model years.

Fuel gauge jumping on a 99 A627 Mar 2004 19:52 GMT1
The fuel gauge jumps between 1/2 and 3/4 sometimes. Never happens below 1/2.
Any suggestions?

Okay, I went to Audi of Bay Ridge in Brooklyn and picked up a copy of
their warranty. I scanned it and posted it here to get some feedback.
They quoted me $2,500 for 35,000 miles but I'm not sure if that covers
all the options on the warranty. I'll have to ask. I'd appreciate your

I just got a 1993 Audi and I have to take out the cassette player to put in
the code (to take it off "safe" mode). I don't know how to take the player
and I was wondering how you go about doing it.
