I'm thinking about buying a new A3 and wondered if any of you have any good
or bad experiences with either the 1.6 or 2.0 FSI engines. I'm more likely
to go for the 1.6 FSI to keep the cost below ?19k but am open to hear your
suggestions and if the ?1.5k increase for the 2 litre is ...

I have a 1.8T A6 Avant 1998. AEB engine, manual 5-speed, no mods. (this is a
UK/Euro spec. car but should be similar to A4 models in US)
Bought the car with Audi warranty, but that's run out. They fixed a few
problems for me but two remain unsolved, they kept giving me the 'your car

Anyone get wind of the wiring harness recall?  Looks like it covers a lot of cars.  Anyone know what's going on behind the scene?

My 2002 audi a4 tdi 130bhp has let me down.The coolant warning light
illuminated and on checking the coolant level I found the  coolant expansion
tank almost full of oil!!!
The car is out of warranty and the dealer is giving me the run around,has

For a couple of week I noticed an air leakage in the rear right door.
Yesterday I spend my afternoon dismantling the door and I reached a
point where I could see the vacuum operated system, but I could not
see how to extract it without risk. Any hint on this final extraction

The radio in my Audi 5000 CS Quattro has a loose wire behind it. The
speakers keep cutting out unless I push the radio/cassette unit in ...
Any help is appreciated.

hi there - ive got a 1997 audi a4 that had the turn signal housing on it
stolen on it. the entire housing, the lens, the bulb, all gone. i stil have
the headlight intact.
i saw this on ebay -

just bought a used TT.  Nice car, bur I just discovered it has no spare
tire but it has a compressor and some kind of spray...!!??.  Does anyone has
any experience with this system.  Is it reliable  or should I but a spare
tire ?

Hi everybody, i'm new in this NG and i would like to have an advice before
decided between 2 cars.
I hope not beeing unpleasant but i hesitate with a new A3 1.6L or 2.0L (petrol
engine) and an Alfa 147 1.6L or 2.0L (petrol too)

if someone was close to selling their current car and needed to put a car in
the company name, which one would you consider??

The Audi website says the S4 has "A smooth as silk six-speed manual or
six-speed Tiptronic® automatic with race-bred steering wheel paddle shifting"
yet I saw a 2004 yesterday with buttons, not paddles.  Has anyone seen one with
paddles?
