| Poor AM Radio reception in A4 | 31 May 2004 23:46 GMT | 18 |
2004 A4 Canadian model with very poor AM reception. Dealer told me it is because the antenna is in the rear window. Bad excuse. FM is great. I have used the AS mode on the radio and it is the same reception; that mode simply tells you what are the best six channels but does

I just took possession of my A4 99.5QTM in volcanic black after selling my 2001 Accord EX-I4M and all I can say after driving it this weekend is amazing (sports seats are a little hard but I'm slowing getting used to it)! Now the chip question (that has probably been already ...

| A4 vs. A6 vs. A8 vs. S8 | 28 May 2004 23:36 GMT | 15 |
I'm considering a new A4 Convertible, an A6 if I can stand the new nose, or a two year old A8 or three year old S8. The use will be for daily commute (40 miles round trip), carrying four adults a fair amount of the time. I'd like a fun driving experience if

| My 1997 A8 experience | 28 May 2004 19:03 GMT | 2 |
I purchased a certifed preowned 1997 Audi A8 in August of 2001. The car had two years left of the original warranty and was always maintained by the local dealership. After the warranty period, I had the timing chain replaced by the local dealer for about $2500. In

I posted about this a little while ago, but still need more info. My newly-acquired 1991 A4 2.8Q (14,000 miles) has very erratic, jerky and unpredictable throttle response, especially when starting from a stop. I never know how it will respond. My wife nearly had an accident due ...

Please can someone give me some advice. We have a 2.6 SE A4, 1996 (right hand drive). After driving for about 20 minutes it develops a humming/whining sound. To the driver it sounds as if it's coming from the left, and to the passenger as if

| A4 Aircon smels on startup | 26 May 2004 21:59 GMT | 8 |
Over the last few days, when getting back into the car and starting up I'm getting a nasty smell from the blowers. It clears in about 30 secs, but is getting worse each time. Note the smell only starts after the fans start up, so it's not something in the cabin.
