| A3 Juddering at a stand-still | 29 Nov 2004 21:47 GMT | 2 |
I've had a new A3 2.0 FSI since September last year and around July this year it developed a fault where the car judders. This is more evident when sat a stand-still with the air-con on LO. The revs go up and down with the engine nearly stalling at points and the car judders ...

I still hate the throttle control on my '01 A4 2.8 after owning it for 6 months. Is there any way to gain some improvement in the drive by wire throttle? Is there a chip available for this engine that can help civilize it (erratic, unpredictable, sluggish, laggy and jumpy with a ...

I have an A4 2.5 TDi year 2003. The handbook (p 58) says there is a facility to automatically activate the central locking when the car goes over 15Kph. "Should you wish to activate the automatic locking function on your vehicle, a qualified workshop can do this for you".

| Thoughts on A6 engine choices | 24 Nov 2004 07:19 GMT | 2 |
I'd appreciate some thoughts on the engine choices in the A6 - I had an early (1999) A6 Avant 2.5 v6 (Quattro) as the last company car which was a very nice car indeed - I'm about to go back to a co car, like an A6 but the available budget doesn't run to the 2.5 or any of the bigger ...

| S8 Report and Reliability Question | 22 Nov 2004 17:02 GMT | 9 |
Four days in the new to me 2002 Audi S8. I'm 54 and have owned a lot of cars over the years. This is far and away the best sedan I've ever owned. Put it in Sport mode, and the transmission matches up to the Brembo 13.6s, the 19 inch wheels, and the stiff suspension to make this a ...

I have a 03 A4 with 5 speed. I just had my 20,000 servicing. I noticed they didn't reprogram the service interval. The manual says to turn off ignition, and then, while holding down the "wrench" button, turn ignition on....and after you see the word "service" push the reset ...

| Allroad or A6 Avant Quatro? | 19 Nov 2004 18:39 GMT | 5 |
I'm looking at getting one of those two used wagons, and wondering if anyone has opinions on which is best. Is the only difference the larger engine, adjustable suspension, and some wheel flairs? I would probably be happy with the 2.8 (I know some say it's underpowered, but
