Greetings all, I'm hoping some Guru out there can tell me if the Audi
100/200/5000  Diff parts are interchangeable.
I have an 016 manual transaxle but the Crown gear is stripped and I have
been quoted over $1800 for a replacement.

I have been looking around on the Audi forum and google, and I can't
find a consensus on the best brake pad to use for normal, everyday
driving.  I don't like the OEM pad, they have way too much brake dust.

Does anyone know what thickness of brake pad kicks off the warning
light?  Am I correct in thinking that there is initially a yellow
warning light at one thickness and then a red warning light at a
lesser thickness?

My dash was giving the temp (flashing thermometer) warning meaning either
the water was low in the reservoir or some other water/temp related problem.
In my attempt to determine the cause, I unplugged the connector to the
reservoir and shorted the contacts in the plug and hey ...

I need feedback on changing out a drive shaft on my daughter's 97 A-4
Quattro...  it has a clunking noise when you start off but smoothes out
