| Noise from back of S4 | 31 Mar 2005 14:46 GMT | 8 |
Driving my 2001 S4 today I heard what sounded like a motorcycle following me at a distance. The sound turned out to be from my car. It isn't an exhaust noise because it is related to speed rather than engine power. At 30-40 MPH it is like the rumble of

| Audi 80 Faulty Fuel Gauge (UK) | 29 Mar 2005 10:38 GMT | 4 |
Hi I have just bought an 1992 audi 80 2.0E with 135,000 on the clock. The fuel guage seems to have a life of its own, usually indicating far less than what is actually in the tank. Also the engine temp guage does not work at all, I presume these problems are linked.

| 98 2.8 A4 Cruise and CD changer problems | 29 Mar 2005 00:50 GMT | 1 |
I just bought a 98 2.8 A4 and its cruise control won't engage now. It engaged once or twice when I first got it, but now it never engages. I can hear a relay like sound coming from roughly the top center of dash when I try to engage it so I know the stalk is making a connection. ...

| REVOTECHNIK software upgrade? | 28 Mar 2005 16:58 GMT | 3 |
Hi all, has anyone any experience of this software? Apparently it is US, but tuned specifically to local conditions. I have run the "demo" package on my TT, and it is phenomenal, if rather pricey. I'm just wondering if there are any horror stories about it doing the rounds before I ...

| Audi A4 1.8 - Turbo Lag? | 28 Mar 2005 13:01 GMT | 11 |
I've recently purchased an used A4 1.8T quattro Avant (2002). I've noticed that if you put your foot down whilst in second and I guess at about 1700 rpm it'll start accelerating and then there'll be a pause (which feels a bit like a lurch) then it'll carry on accelerating. Not

I've been told that the mjor cause of oil leaks is due to the gasket for the cam adjuster. What is the consensus on this. Any easy (quick) modes of repair?

AUDI A3 1.8 non turbo. 1999. Can anyone tell me how to release the plastic connectors that push on to the fuel filter situated below the fuel tank. They seem to have some kind of locking device but I cannot see how this works.

I've just installed a Pioneer DEH-P3630MP on my Audi A3 (2000) It works fine but there are some issues: 1 - It only works when I have the key on the contact. 2 - When I remove the keys, after 2 seconds the radio beeps 4 times.
