| Avon Tires | 31 May 2005 16:15 GMT | 1 |
Anyone had any experience on Audis with the new Avon tires at Tire Rack? Great stats and reviews at the site, but I'm a little skeptical given that they are effectively the "house" tire.

Friend of mine has a 96 A6. He brought it over today with a complaint of a slow power window. I got the door panel off and found a green clip on the forward end of the regulator that was in the process of coming apart, and as a result there is a lot of slop in the window track. It

I've recently bought an audi A8 2.8 V6 from 1998. It has 199.000 km. Since 3 weeks orso it has the tendency to stall during breaking and slow cornering. I noticed that it didn't do so if I had the airco on but when I turned it off it did start stalling again. Now the problem is ...

| Instrument cluster repairs (UK) | 27 May 2005 18:15 GMT | 23 |
Does anyone know of a company based in the UK who can repair a fault on an Audi instrument cluster. I've isolated the fault down to either a dry solder joint somewhere on the PCB or a failing component because the cluster only works on warm days or when the heater in the cabin is ...

I got a new A3 Sportback 2.0TDI SE a couple of months ago and its fine apart from the ride which is pretty unsettled. The car runs on 16" wheels and Bridgestone tyres but I noticed that the standard tyre pressures seem unusually high for a smallish and relatively lightweight car. ...

Someone in the neighborhood is selling a 2000 Audi AllRoad. It retailed for $47K US. It has about 80K miles on it and looks cherry. The info on the side window says it has been carefully maintained and detailed. Most of the miles are highway. It's a 2.7TT. He wants $21K for it; ...

I found a '98 Audi A8 Quattro w/ 49K miles. From what I've read initially, it's a pretty reliable car with good gas mileage. I know it's a good price, but is it worth it for someone that doesn't want to spend ALOT on maintenace? My only worry, as you could probably guess, is the ...
