My 80 has done 171K miles and the gearbox/diff sounds as though it's about to drop out (bad knocking with bumps and rapid throttle changes). I have the option of getting a 1989 (G reg) same model, but before the facelift, for spares.

My front door was hanging slightly lower than it should and I noticed that the bolts on the door hinges were loose. I tighteded the 2 botls on the lower hinge and then decided to readjust the top hinge. I thought truning the bolt anti-clockwise will just losen the

I have an 2004 Audi 3.0 A4. It came with a factory-installed Bose stereo and CD. One of the buttons for the CD - the "LOAD" button fell off and disappeared.
