My 1994 manual Audi A4 1.8 has just developed a problem - The engine revs
at park constantly fluctuate between 1500 rpm and 3500 rpm approx.  When i

1500 rpm, meaning i cannot accelerate.  This ocurs in each ...

My 80 has done 171K miles and the gearbox/diff sounds as though it's about

I got my new '04 S4 last March.  I noticed that at speeds that I was
normally keeping up with traffic or going slightly faster in my old car, I
was now being passed quite regularly in my S4.  So, I do the natural
response and speed up.  I figured the speedo was reading about 5% ...

but very noticeable at low speeds on good surfaces, where it appears as a
"wop, wop" noise each wheel revolution. Front discs and ...

I've always appreciated a nice quiet and smooth engine and occasionally
