I have an Audi A6 1999 Avant 2.4 petrol. Low milage.
A rattle has just developed yesterday coming from the engine.  To me
it sounds like one or more tappets but the guy from the AA thought it

my 99 2.8 has trouble starting once in a while. it feels like it doesn't
want to catch and then it idles real high. other times it starts normal
but idles high. I can not reproduce it nor can I predict it. I have had 3
or 4 mechanics look at it but they couldn't find anything wrong. ...

It looks like the 2006 premium package for the 2.0T CVT has a missing
trip computer.  Looking at the manual there should be buttons on the
wiper stalk but none there on mine!  Could this be a mistake?!?!
I can't believe that the trip computer would not come with this model.

1987 Audi 5000s Coolant Leak..
Recently, my 1987 Audi 5000 needed the upper radiator hose replaced.
(exploded).
After changing/flushing the coolant, there was still a loss somewhere.

I have been driving A4's (1.9TDi) for quite a while now and the last few
have been having their service around 19-20K
I have not changed my driving pattern (mainly motorways) and my latest one
has also shown the service interval

I have a 01 A6 2.7T.  When I used the cruise, My EPC light would come on and it seamed like the w/g would stay open on the turbo beacuse they would not spool up... now it is happening all the time.    The dealer cannot figure it out.   any one had this issue?

My car is due for the smog test again, but it it is running rich when
cold. Most likely it will not pass!
If somebody has had similar problems, perhaps they can post some tips
