Thinking of getting a 2 year old A4 - Any suggestions?15 Dec 2005 05:24 GMT9
I am thinking of getting a 2 year old Audi A4, which would make it a
2003 model, but considering the year is almost up, and I am not quite
ready to purchase one yet, it might end up being a 2004 model.
So, anything in particular to watch out for? Obviously, if the seller

Safe to drive with a leaking water pump? 11 Dec 2005 16:32 GMT4
My 93 Audi 100 has coolant leaking from behind the belt cover area so I can
only assume it is the water pump.  Is it safe to drive it like this until I
have the money to have it fixed, or do I risk breaking the timing belt?
Thanks
Bought used A4 without key tag--am I screwed?11 Dec 2005 16:31 GMT3
So, I got a good deal (so I thought ) on a 2004 A4.  When I signed the
check and went to get the car, the dealer hands me the non-remote key.
That's all they had, they say.  (This wasn't an Audi dealer)  I bought
an uncut remote key on ebay--but then I realized I don't have the
ABS and Brake Light on intermittantly on '98 A410 Dec 2005 22:58 GMT1
I am having the ABS and Brake light come on intermittently (no obvious
pattern) and then goes off.
I have been able to determine that the ABS is NOT functioning during
the period that the light is on.

99 A6 Headlights and Turnsignals Problem09 Dec 2005 17:44 GMT2
My low-beam head lights and turn signals are suddenly not working.   They
worked last night, and stopped when I cranked the car this morning.  I've
pulled every fuse and none appear to be blown.  High beams still work fine
as do the flashers and all four turn signal bulbs blink ...
Mixing Dunlop M2 and M3 tires09 Dec 2005 16:08 GMT2
This winter I will have to drive in snow.  I have three Dunlop Winter
Sport M2 tires.  My 2001 S4 has four wheels.  The M2 is no longer
made.  A full set of M3s would be expensive.  Is it safe to use two
new Dunlop M3s with the existing M2s?
A4 V6 2.4 bearing rattle or not09 Dec 2005 16:03 GMT2
I had the cam belt and all related parts changed in the summer. She has run
