My sons TT is not as nippy as it used to be and the tick over seems a bit
lumpy.
Anyone had this problem?

There is a metal piece inside the Mass air flow sensor (MAF) on my 1993
Audi 90 CS; it has two screws.  As anyone unscrewed the two screws and
removed this metal piece to allow more air into the engine?  Is it safe
enough to do in order to get more power?

I am new to Audi cars... but love the look and drive of one. I am
looking at purchasing a 2004 A4, but wanted to know if anyone has had
any major problems with them... also if anyone has free access to a
full VIN report it would be a great help... thanks!

Just to put out some information to people that are hearing lots of rattle  
at start-up of the V6-12V engine..
After listening to the bad sounds for too long I finally got to do the  
work.. I dismounted the serpentine belt first to rule out the involved  

I have an automatic 4 speed transmission. Right now my car is not
switiching into fouth gear. It also jumps up and down from 2 and 3
almost randomly. I can rev the engine upto 40k rpm and it will not
switch... However, occasionally  if I rev it up to like 50,000 rpm and

Since today mij remote controll of my A4 does nothing at all.
Also my other key does not function.
I can open the car and start the engine; but mij alarm does not shut
off...what a terrible noise....

Are the top three elements supposed to work, they do not on my TT. I note
that there are two vertical wires in the middle of the screen from the
bottom to the top which do note take in the top three elements. Are they
cosmetic only?

Help! I need an Audi genius and I guess this is the place to ask!
My 1995 Audi A4 central locking system has suddenly packed in. Also at the
same time, the interior light doesn't come on when I open the doors. Also,
the red alarm indicator on the dash doesn't come on.
