There's one thing keeping me from buying an A3 Quattro:  AudiUSA does
not offer a towbar (trailer hitch) as an option.  AudiUK does.  
Is anyone aware of a UK dealer or independent parts supplier who would
ship the correct one,, electrical interconnect, and lower bumper trim

I have a 2000 A4 2.8 and I just replaced the battery.  Now the check engine
light stays on.  I did all of the other resets... but is there something
else that needs to be done to reset the computer or something?

After taking my A3 to my dealership in cambridge, They took the car in and repaired it.  They also gave me a a free courtesy car. The repair work was for rust in the roof channels

i have a 96 tdi A4 which has done 155000 miles, over the last few weeks i
have noticed a drop in power. this is more noticable when the engine is under
torque. The engine also kicks out black smoke when under strain, the car is
serviced frequently so i don't think its a fuel problem ...

Howdy-
This is kind of hard to explain, but when it rains, water collects b/w the
seal and the door itself so that it puddles on what you might call the
pseudo running board.  It collects enough that you can hear a faint splash

i understand this is a common fault and have replaced bulbs and holders,

The local Audi dealership has not, in my opinion, made a good faith
effort to resolve a problem with the fuel gauge in my 2003 A4 that has
persisted for more than three months.  Is there someone higher up in
the Audi chain of command who I should approach with the problem and
