Parked my A6  2.8  1998 and heard fan noise - thought cooling fan was still
on. Left overnigh. next day battery dead and drained. Put charger on and
heard fan noise from engine compartment in area of the air filter. Thus
batery won't charge - all power from the charger is running ...

I'm giving the A6 some serious consideration but Consumer Reports indicates
a bad grade for the engine. They didn't specify which one but since they
didn't give the A8 a bad report for the engine, I'm assuming they mean the
3.2

I have a 2002, Audi A6 2.7T.   Doe anyone know what type of power steering
fluid the vehicle uses?  I can't find any mention of it in the owners
manual.

I have no operating manual for the cd/radio. Sometimes when I switch it
on all speakers work. Sometimes when I switch it  on , only the rear
speakers work.
Is there a setting (not the fader) or do I have a unit needing repair?

My radiator fan is not working in all three speeds anymore.
Somtimes it does not come on at all.

My 200 has a hard start issue and I'm suspicious the injectors are leaking.
(Cranks a long time and when it does start the exhaust smells and looks rich
like it was flooded.) I'm curious if replacing JUST the seals will correct
the problem or do I need to change the injectors too ...

hi, my a6 started smoking, and got worse! road behind was invisible.

I'm looking at the 2005 A4.  I've driven the Quattro versions of the
3.2L sedan and the 3.0L cab.  The cab's performance was, to say the
least, disappointing.  Basically, no low-end torque.  Punch the 3.2
sedan and it responds immediately while the 3.0 cab just whines.
