| thermostat switch 3 connections | 18 Aug 2006 19:23 GMT | 2 |
I had to renew the thermostatswitch in the radiator of my Porsche 928 1978. It used to be a switch with 2 connections. The alternative part for this is an Audi switch with 3 connections, apparently for 2 temperatures (as on my former Audi 90 2.6E). My Porsche only knows one speed ...

| Audi A4 - Broken timing belt issues | 18 Aug 2006 16:09 GMT | 6 |
Does anyone have a view on how likely a seized water pump could result in a timing belt breaking? My car is an A4 sport 5 years old 70,000 miles and serviced in line the variable service requirements.

| Digital Radio (UK)? | 15 Aug 2006 19:43 GMT | 3 |
I live in England and have an A4 with an Audi Symphony stereo system. I'd rather like digital radio in the car (I've become addicted to a digital-only station). Is anyone aware of a (reasonably priced) DAB add-on that can be used with my existing system, please?

| Car fixed itself? | 15 Aug 2006 14:59 GMT | 2 |
Well, I was having a problem with my 1995 Audi 90 2.8 five speed.. It was running rough at low revs (3500rpm and below), very jerky, some loss of power and fuel economy at all speeds, and it sort of but not completely went away as the car warmed up.

| AC low pressure "valve" | 12 Aug 2006 18:33 GMT | 3 |
I wan't to connect a manometer to the AC system on my '96 A4 1.8T but I can only find the "valve" on the high pressure side. The high pressure valve is on the condenser. This makes me think the low pressure valve could be on the vaporizer but it would be kind of wired to put it ...

| Audi A3 1999 1.8 20v (AGN engine code): ECU problems | 11 Aug 2006 17:33 GMT | 1 |
Car was running fine up to when it went into local Audi dealer for a routine service + recoding some spare transponder keys. Dealer reported that faults with engine management system were showing which would require more diagnostic time to trace. But car was virtually undrivable
