Do you think you would get a better deal if you negotiated one car by yourself or got together with five others and negotiated five cars with the same dealer?

| Anyone know what this part is called?? | 29 Nov 2006 21:51 GMT | 2 |
On a '98 dark blue Audi Quattro it's the black rubber strip that runs along each side, about 3/4 down. Mine is not painted, it's just black rubber. The damn thing is coming off of it's mounting (partially due to my kicking it).

| 3rd row seat 2000 A6 Avant? | 29 Nov 2006 12:46 GMT | 2 |
Has anyone added a third row to an A6 Avant that did not have one from the factory? Are there mount points in all A6 wagons? Is there a source other than Audi to buy these seats? Anyone have one they want to sell?? Know of a donor car at a local bone yard that has one?

| 1988 Audi Quattro 200 Wagon | 27 Nov 2006 02:53 GMT | 1 |
I'm getting one! And am tremendously psyched and needed to tell someone who cared. It's a manual--rare find! Only 70k miles on it. I'm giddy as a schoolgirl! All it needs are new tires (so far as I know), it's everything I want in a vehicle and the first thing I'm going to do is

| Best Engine | 22 Nov 2006 20:17 GMT | 1 |
I am wondering what would be the most reliable engine in a Audi, I am looking to get a replacement Audi 1999 to 2003 ( A4 ) & I don't particularly want oil sludge problems or timing belt failures, have any engines got timing chains? I just want something reliable,

| Car stalled at stop sign, now it won't start | 21 Nov 2006 03:53 GMT | 29 |
Hi, I just bought a 2001 A4 1.8T Fwd Trip with 116K miles on it a few days ago. This morning the car started up fine (the OK! display came on) and I drove to the end of my street where I stopped at a stop sign. At the stop, the car turned off by its-self and wouldn't restart after

I am considering the purchase of an Audi A6 avant 2000, with 60K and the 2.8 v6 tiptonic. My concern is maintenance cost. I would appreciate any advice/data that you may have to help me with this purchase. The car will be used as a daily driver in New England 400

| 1990 Audi 100 fuel delivery problem | 18 Nov 2006 22:14 GMT | 5 |
Going crazy here. My Audi 100 will not start after sitting a day or so in damp weather. Cold weather is okay - it seems to be the moisture that's killing me. Weird thing is, the ignition spark is fine, but fuel is not reaching the cylinders. If I put a heat lamp under the hood for

| Squek in rear suspension A6 Quattro | 18 Nov 2006 07:33 GMT | 1 |
My 96 A6 Quattro wagon has developed a squeak in the left rear suspension. I'm pretty sure its coming from the top of the strut. When I spray white grease up there or if its raining the squek disappears or gets less for a while.

| Allroad Perfomance | 17 Nov 2006 20:43 GMT | 6 |
Just got an Allroad today. Having driven diesels fro 20+ years, I am surprised by the lack of grunt at less than 2200 rpm. After that it flys. Is this normal for the 2.5 tdi? It is a bit like a petrol at these low

i put in a "supposedly" OE air filter made by mahle a couple of months ago. i noticed at the time that the filter was slightly larger than the one i was removing (which was original stock equipment). i put it in anyway, since the difference in size was less than a centimeter all
