General question although the car is OT. My son has a new M Series BMW
and is in Germany. The dealer charged
him 240 Euro for the oil during the oil change. I need to know if
there is any other source for the oil at a cheaper price. In Fl. a

Audi & the symbologist Dr. Rex Curry expose swastika symbolism19 Dec 2006 15:28 GMT19
The Audi and the Volkswagen logo expose the swastika as intertwined "S"
shapes symbolizing "Socialism" for the monstrous National Socialist German
Workers' Party.  The Volkswagen logo is described in greater detail at the
following web pages, and the Audi logo is described below. ...

The Brake Pad Indicator on my '99 A6 just went on.
I've been bringing it to the dealer for most eveything from $100+ oil
changes (ouch) to $1800 preventative timing chain R&Rs.  There's a 90K
mile tune up coming soon too (the car has 87K miles on it).

Does anyone know how to search for a part number in the ETKA parts
catalog?  I can bring up a dialog that says "enter part number" but it
always returns "Part number unknown", even if I enter the P/N in
proper case, with spaces, and even when it's displayed on the page

I have a 2000 A6 (4.2) with almost 90k miles (I purchased certified

Rear brakes dragging14 Dec 2006 08:39 GMT6
First I have limited experience with Audi, as this is a friends car.  I
have Audi A4 and went through the experience of trying to replace the
