I recently stopped taking my 99 A6 to the dealer, and started taking it to
an independent.  I got a tuneup and oil change at about 91,000 miles.  Its
been 10,000 miles, and the oil and service lights have just come on.
(The oil light used to go on after about 7,500 miles).

I have a 2001 Audi A4 1.8 turbo engine.  I am trying to get the cylinder
head off.  Can anyone tell me what size tool I need to fit the head
bolts?  I think they are maybe T-50 torx, but not sure.  The tool has to
be long to fit down inside the bores.  If anyone knows what tool ...

On a cold start, I got under the car and in the first 10 seconds (so I
didn't burn my hands off) I felt the exhaust chamber under the car
(not the pipe).. I swear is sounds like there is something IN it,
raddling around.

Decided to go rotary on a quattro.
Has anybody else gone rotary?

My wife has a '97 VW Cabrio, and my son has a '98 Audi A4.
The Cabrio  needs a scan- and I'm thinking it is a good time to get
the cables and software and learn to do it myself.
I have a laptop with USB.

I used to hook up my own stereos (head units) way back in simpler times,
but had trouble with my '86 CGT, and now want to work on my '97 A4 2.8
with the Delta CC stereo.  The display has a bad patch, and there's no
CD changer in the car, so I wanted to replace it with a stereo ...

I'm planning on buying a used TT within the next few months.  I
want the coupe, 225HP, Quatro.
Is there anything specific I should be watching out for?

I have a 2004 Audi A4 and I have a bad smell from the air con, I have bought
some fungi killer for the air con but it says that I need to take out the
filters before I spray into the system. Any idea where the filters are
located? and where the air intake is for the air con??

I know someone (in the Scarborough area of Toronto, Canada) who is about to
retire a 1991 audi 100.   It's currently still being driven daily.   Lots of
very worn running gear, engine is OK.
Is there any person or shop in that general area who specialises in, or

i have an a4 tdi 1.9 and it seems to be loosing on acceloraition when i get
to 60  and put my foot down it seems to hold back and slowly speeds up has
any one got any ideas cheers craig

I see no compartment in the car large enough to hold the owners

Stays on and I get fault code 0588 which comes back as the drivers side
ignitor.  How much to fix this and what would it entail?  Thanks

The car has had a full service and generally drives very well but when
starting from cold after been left for several hours (or overnight) it
