I say 1 quart in 1500 miles in new machine is a bit much.
Dealer says no.
I have 92 Lincoln Mark with 130,000 miles that uses 1/2  quart between
service.3-4K miles
2001 A4 2.8Q Bottom Engine shield.07 Jun 2008 19:11 GMT11
While driving in heavy snow the bottom shield came loose when all the
quick release plastic screws gave out. The front of the shield dropped
and acted like a large snow scoop. What is the purpose of this part,
other than to keep dirt out? Can I leave it off? It sure would make

I'm buying a 2004 TT S-Line coupe.  It has 18" wheels presently.
I'd like to buy an additional set to mount snow tires.
Do I have to stay with 18" wheels, or can I go with 16"?

I drive a '94 500 SEL, the SA version of the Audi 100 with the V6 2.8l
engine. The prob is that as soon as I switch on the ignition, the
temperature warning light comes on and stays on even after starting the
car for the first time on a cold morning. Where is this sensor located?

I have a slight problem with my US spec '98 A4 2.8 Quatro.
It seems that the oil pools around the oil filler cap and then will
drip down on to both the plastic covers and on to the head and exhaust
manifold.
