Well, it sounds like my '98 A4 2.8 needs new catalytic converters.
Has anyone replaced them themselves? The dealer here wants about
$1500 per side...

A Dealer is quoting £250 to replace the front anti roll bar assembly.
A third party (known) garage is quoting £100 while using original VW parts.
any comments on using the third party.

I have a new 2009 A5 with smart key. With the car turned off, I
placed the key in the slot to power close the windows. Following

I hope someone might be able to advise me - I have founf various posts
relating to the Evap Emmissions systems on these systems but I don't
think these help me - they refer to flooded carbon canisters or faulty
purge valves but it seems to me that the blockage is closer to the
