I posted a question last week about tire sizes, but didn't get any response.
I don't think my title was appropriate.
I have a 1995 Ford Windstar and I need new tires. I've narrowed down my
selection to the Michelin Harmony or HydroEdge. The tire size for this van

Is there a definitive list anywhere stating exactly which cars (make,
model, year) have "black box" recording devices in them? Also is there
anywhere that details how to find them and remove or disable them. I
have a Subaru Legacy Outback wagon '96.

When I'm driving at 60mph for more than a half hour a squealing noise can be
heard from one of the front wheels and the area around the wheel becomes
extremely hot.
Any advice?

Hi. After pulling a nice-looking fender from a junkyard, I noticed a
small rusty patch in the lower corner. I'm not going to go the whole nine
yards with cutting and welding, but I do plan on using a rust neutralizer
before applying fiberglass. The thing is, I don't know *WHICH* ...

I recently purchased a lightly used 2002 Mercury Mountaineer. Under the
hood is a warning label about disconnecting the remote starter feature if
you are working on the engine. The strange thing is that there was no
mention of this option when I purchased the vehicle.

I got a ticket for a rolling stop. It occurs to me that an acclerometer
could beep when it feels that "backwards" feeling you get when the car
comes to a complete stop.
Ever seen a gadget like this?
