Trying to find value of 4 autos in 1992/321 Sep 2004 06:09 GMT5

was for the following automobiles in Dec1992/Jan1993. I am thinking of
something along the lines of a Kelly Blue Book or Edmunds from that time.

Which is best used truck for under $5000 ?18 Sep 2004 00:25 GMT11
We want to buy a GOOD used truck to pull a camper trailer.
Here is what we need:
1. Enough power to pull a 20' or so bumper pull full-sized camper.
2. A rear seat large enough for three children and/or groceries, etc.
Radar Detectors17 Sep 2004 21:10 GMT2
Here is the deal:
I want to have myself a detector. The best one. However, I am most
concerned on "radar detector detectors" a la VG-2, which I do not want
to be seen by.

black paint - hotter car?15 Sep 2004 23:55 GMT1
I personally own a black and silver car at this moment.  On a hot day,
the black car is extremely hotter than the silver.  I'm no physicist
so don't ask me why, but that answers the question.
Why/How do diesels deliver *less* power but *more* torque?15 Sep 2004 23:40 GMT2
It seems to me that diesels simply have *LESS* energy content than
gasoline engines.  In every comparison with a diesel engine with a
similarly sized gas-engine, I always noticed that the gas engine has
more power.

Cleaning paint overspray from clear-coat finish14 Sep 2004 22:44 GMT1
I discovered that, when our son was spray-painting one of his model
rockets, he got a fair amount of overspray on our car, which has a
clear-coat finish.
I discovered that "Goof Off" did a good job of getting the paint off the

Now that the assault weapon freeze is off, I want to buy an AK47 to

maniac needs to have his ears removed.

Who usually pays hospital bills?12 Sep 2004 01:36 GMT71
I've never had a car accident, so I have no real experience with
what I'm wondering about.  Let's say that I cause bodily injury
to someone else while driving; let's say I smash into their car
and it's my fault, and they are injured and require lots of medical
Gas Tank Leaks . . . Repair?10 Sep 2004 13:54 GMT3
I have a 1977 Ford Pickup. The gas tank developed a small pinhole leak.
I repaired it with some of that putty/epoxy they sell. It then developed
another small leak. I probably need to do a more drastic type of repair.
What's available?
