Ford Fires Associated with Cruise control disconnect14 Feb 2005 00:20 GMT12
The buzz is about a recall of Ford F150s and Excursions for fires that
start near the master cylinder.
Speed control seems to be deactivated by a switch that is activated by
hydraulic pressure. Does that same switch activate brake lights?
Odd attitude at dealer--bad sign?13 Feb 2005 20:18 GMT9
I traded in my '93 Honda Del Sol for a new car last weekend, and I'm a
little concerned that at least some people at that dealership have a bad
attitude towards customers, because of what happened with my trade-in:
The Del Sol had a driver-side-only airbag that I disabled years ago ...
Roadster Wars: new 2005 S boxster vs SLK 55 AMG13 Feb 2005 06:27 GMT2
Which one would you guys get? I have a BMW 330Ci at present and I love
it. It lacks power though. I'm slightly (but by no means decisively)
inclined towards the AMG SLK because of its superior performance. At
the same time I cannot shake off its slightly more GT image. But I
Cylinder not firing12 Feb 2005 20:44 GMT2
The #3 cylinder on my '98 Cavalier is not getting a spark. I used an
inline tester to confirm this. Does this prove that I need to replace
the Ignition Control Module or could there be another less expensive
solution?

'Middle lane hogging' is Law of the Jungle11 Feb 2005 03:01 GMT33
While England has a problem with lane discipline, they are talking
about it. America has a crisis but chooses a different approach: Ignore
it.

HELP - registration question...10 Feb 2005 14:29 GMT2
My car was towed, and I had too many tickets to get it back (it was a lot
of money).  A  friend managed to buy it from a salvage yard, and now he
wants to give it back to me. He says that a salvaged car has no history,
so I can register it again - cheap.  I have a feeling that ...

Parked 1 year - how to prep?08 Feb 2005 00:39 GMT3
I've got a 1994 Camaro 6-cyl. which has been parked for more than a year,
with no prep done.  The battery was removed about five months ago, but other
than that, it is exactly as it was parked the last time it was driven, in
January 2004.
