Who are providing the "bread and butter" for car reviewers and critics?25 Jan 2006 18:01 GMT8
I sometimes enjoy watching a movie, which has been marked VERY badly by
some movie critics/reviewers. My friend told me that I should keep
checking and comparing the kind of movies that I like to those among
the so many movie critics in magazine, newspaper or on TV. When I

Temperature problem23 Jan 2006 02:55 GMT11
I wasn't sure which newsgroup to post this in, so please excuse me if by
posting it here I may have made a faux pas.
I notice that on a cold day like it was today, when I let the car warm up
and run the heater for a few minutes, it gets nice and warm inside.  But
Automotive Orgasms20 Jan 2006 05:29 GMT1
After watching all the car commercials on tv, I have come to the
conclusion that cars are more desired than love and friendship with
other people.  In fact according to these commercials, cars are even
more gorgeous and desirous than having sex with the most beautiful

Last weekend my car died and I had to get it towed to the shop.  I
have not heard from them all week so I called last evening.  They said
they have been working on my car and they thought they had it repaired
but when they took it on a test drive, they said my engine is still

Reprogramming Remote Entry16 Jan 2006 08:20 GMT1
I changed the battery in my aunt's 2000 Chevrolet Impala entry remote, and it
no longer works. She does not have an owner's manual. Can anyone tell me what
I need to do to reprogram the remote? Thanks.
Engine rattles when accelerating16 Jan 2006 05:09 GMT5
I have a '93 Cadillac Sedan Deville with a 4.9 liter V8 engine and when I'm
driving, it tends to rattle when I have my foot on the gas, but it won't
rattle when I have it in park or neutral.
If anyone knows what causes a motor to rattle and possibly has a solution to
Plastic bumper repair16 Jan 2006 05:06 GMT1
Has anybody attempted to repair plastic bumpers? I have a tear in the bumper
and I was wondering if there is any technique to repair the damage. I read
that 3M DURAMIX 04036 will bond to TPO. Any experience with that?

Should I fire this guy because he bought his degree from the internet?16 Jan 2006 05:00 GMT5
A couple years ago I hired a guy named Thomas as a senior mechanic for
a small radiator shop I run in California. He always seemed like a
pretty competent worker. Thomas had great personal skills, came into
work on-time, and pretty much completed projects better than any of the

Why are certified cars more expensive than new ones?10 Jan 2006 21:07 GMT3
I live in the Bay Area and had been hunting for a used car.
On a good day, a new Camry (AT, AC, PW, PDL) is advertised as low as
15777. The invoice for a LE (as per Edmunds) is 18,234 and a 750$
rebate is the norm - a net price of 17,500 or thereabouts.

Well, it wasn't even with his own life, something which I don't care
about when darting vehicles --Autobahn style-- pass me on the left
lane, but with my own life, the vehicle wilfully cutting off my
motorcycle in order to exit at the last second --American style, I may
Do you clay your car when you wash it?09 Jan 2006 07:19 GMT4
