I wanted to see if anyone may be able to diagnose the problem I am
having with my 2001 Elantra. Sometimes when I accelerate, typically
after I first start the car, the car will seem to not be able to shift
out of 3rd gear(it's an automatic), then the car kinda jolts and the

I'm looking to buy a new car.  For health resons the air conditioning
is *very* important to me.  Is there some kind of list that would rate
the AC in various models of cars?
Any help would be appreciated!

I have a sidewall tire cut about 2 inches but the tire is fine with no
loss of pressure.
Should I be concerned.  Should it be repaired or replaced ?
