hot serpentine belt19 Aug 2006 17:15 GMT5
My father in law has an old geo metro. Recently his serpentine belt
broke. He replaced it and the new one gets very, very hot. My guess is
on of the loads are dragging.  He said both the driven items
(alternator and probably a ps pump) turn freely.  Any suggestions?

I just put 1 + 1 together and started wondering if two problems I have
are related.  I've got a 2002 Subaru Impreza WRX with 70K.  The front
left tire is wearing very fast even though I got the wheel alignment
serviced (unsuccessfully) last year - AND the car makes a grinding /
1998 manual Subaru Legacy GT stalls at stops and in neutral, and then runs terribly12 Aug 2006 19:30 GMT7
Here's the story. I bought a 98 Legacy with only 40K miles, but with
the "check engine light" on, from a dealer in New Jersey, got on the
turnpike, and it stalled at the first tollbooth. It started fine, but
the engine sounded like a lawnmower, was shaking terribly, and had a

Oil on my O2 Sensor10 Aug 2006 22:14 GMT3
I've got an 86 Honda Prelude 2.0Si.  The ecu reported a bad O2 sensor
so I replaced it- the old one was horribly, horribly rusted and so
before I put the new one on I added a bit of lubricant/anti-rust

Is it possible that these springs are interchangable with another vehicle?
Any ideas as to which?
2002 Suzuki Vitara door panel09 Aug 2006 04:44 GMT5
The driver's window on my Suzuki Vitara is very slow in mid-range going up.
Sometimes it even stops and must be manually assisted.  Going down is no
