I have 200K on my 1997 Accord. With 30,000 miles on a set of 4 new

fluids.  A few years back, I had 1993 Ford Ranger and a round 200,000

Ugh.
           I've had a grrrrreat weekend here.  I noticed my wife's
car (95 Toyota Camry) was leaking gasoline and found the source of the

I recently had a new alternator installed in my ''96 Riviera.  Right after
this a strong smell of acetone was present.  Then mechanic put in new battery
and new supercharger.  He said the old battery was the cause of the smell.

Ok, I have a 1995 Honda Accord LX with 115K miles with a 5 speed clutch
living in NC.
Last year, I drove it into the shop because I could not get it in gear,
especially 1st, but reverse seemed to be all right.

I am very interested in buying a car from someone who has a lease on
the car.  They say that they would be able to payoff the car and get
title in 10 days.  How is that you typically deal with these types of
things?  Should I write them a check and just count on them to send me
