Dashboard Lights dim31 Mar 2007 21:23 GMT3
I've got a Golf VR6, which has been on the road for about 2 months.
The problem I've got is when I turn the ignition on (not yet starting  the
engine) the lights will come on (as normall), but when I start the engine,
the lights go dim insteadof going off complete.

Engine knocks at low RPM29 Mar 2007 12:45 GMT6
My engine all of a sudden seems to have developed knocking on low RPM

Refrigerant oil is visible on the threads outside the center shaft.
Can just the seal/gasket be replaced?
Or does the whole compressor need replacing?

Squeaking noise from rear passenger side.20 Mar 2007 08:56 GMT1
I have a vauxhall corsa. Recently I have noticed a loud squeaking
noise coming from the back of the car. It only seems to be on the left

If I have the window down the noise is unbearable. It doesn’t matter
Nissan D21 Pickup Engine Noise19 Mar 2007 20:29 GMT2
I was on the freeway after a 2 hour 75mph trip but never exceeded 3k
RPM on the tack, when I got off, I had a ticking sound as if it were a
lifter that progressively got worse.  I'd had castrol 5-30 in the
engine from the winter and stopped by a lube outfit and had it changed

My transmission is working fine when cold.  After first starting, all gears
shift normally for about 5 minutes.  Then it starts to slip. After 10
minutes, it won't catch in any gears - forward or reverse.  Then if I let it
sit for awhile, it will start catching again.

I've posted a pic of a serpentine belt we removed after only being on
a week from a '92 Jeep.  Not sure if it's a case of just super old

fray and break.  Couldn't find any obvious problem with bearings or
