How to do a car title search in Maryland, USA?29 Jun 2008 22:51 GMT3
Pertaining to a car accident I was involved in, I need to do a title
search on a vehicle.  The plates are Maryland plates, and I know the
model of the car and the name of the driver.  I tried calling the
Maryland MVA to find out who the car was registered to (I need to know

Background:   1990 Mazda Protege, very well maintained, very clean
under hood.   Last night it started as usual.   I drove it to the dumpster
at the edge of my property to dump some trash, stopped the car,
and cut engine.   When I tried to start it back up, I got the usual

spark plug in oil pan drain instead of bolt25 Jun 2008 15:22 GMT23
My car had been leaking oil, and when I had it checked the guy drained
the remaining oil, and then found that that the threading in the hole
in the oil pan, where the oil drains out, had been partially stripped.
The bolt was loose due to this, which is what had been causing the oil

Better suspension?17 Jun 2008 22:34 GMT2
I need a better suspension on my car. As it is now, when I go over a speed
bump in an apartment complex, the frame hits, no matter how slow
sometimes.
Invisible speed bumps can also bend a front axle on me.
Cleaning gunk from cooling system17 Jun 2008 21:53 GMT1
My daughter "abandoned" her 95 Camaro with us.  No tags in the
driveway and it's paid off, so it's not costing me anything, other
than lost potential of selling it.  One thing she failed to do was to
get the cooling system flushed and now gunk has built up somewhat in
Engine work16 Jun 2008 04:17 GMT2
I hope this is the right group.  I couldn't find a group that was
specific to this.  I need to do some engine work on a 93 Suzuki
Swift.  I believe that I have leaky valves, but with the engine as old
as it is (130000+ miles) I'm betting that the rings are bad too.  The

pressure port on teh early 944 (i have a 1984 944).  It is different
from the later 944's that i've seen.  On the late 944's the low side
port is near the driver's side shock tower.  On mine, it is no where
