Has anyone ever driven a Tucker or see one?
Why Citi Group, but not GM28 Nov 2008 13:31 GMT43
Seems the Republicans are more than willing to give Citi Group as much
money as they want, but won't lend GM a dime....where is the fairness
in that?
Having dealt with Citi credit cards, I can assure you anything bad you

ORPHAN CARS WILLYS27 Nov 2008 18:35 GMT12
Everyone knows the Willys Jeep. How many remember the Willys cars?
Especially the Willys Aero and Willys Bermuda of the 50's? Maybe you saw a
52 Willys Aero in the film Back to the Future?
STUDEBAKER GOLDEN HAWK25 Nov 2008 01:08 GMT2
Now THERE was a car. Several engine options R1 through R5 as I recall,
from hot to WOW! Even the R1 was a quick little car in its day. As I recall
there was nothing that could keep up with the R-5 version. Rare as hen's
teeth. I think you had to know somebody to even get one.

Does anyone share my interest in  the great orphan cars? Hudson,
Packard, Studebaker, Kaiser, Willys, Nash, AMC, and the like?
Questions about portable GPS brands & models18 Nov 2008 18:15 GMT4
I'm currently test driving a Magellan GPS.  It works pretty well, but there
are locations that don't show up on the maps.  This is probably true for all
brands, but I wonder if some have a reputation for better coverage then
others?  Also, although map updates are available for ...

I found douses of website claiming that adding Acetone to your gas
will improve your millage.   The only way to know for sure is to try

car happens to belong to automotive writer Richard Holdener
Cigarette Smell15 Nov 2008 00:59 GMT6
My wife and I are looking at a 08 Honda Fit with only 5k miles.  The
previous owner smoked in it however.  The dealership we are looking at
purchasing it from says, they can get that smell out no problem.
They are going to place an ionizer in there and they said it will do

Not a good idea to go one size higher with Tires.06 Nov 2008 00:34 GMT2
I bought a used Saturn that has pair of P185/65R14 and a pair of
P185/70R14 on the front.   The 70r14 at the front need to be
replaced.   I found a great pair of used 70r14 to replace them.   Is
it a really bad idea to miss match them or is that close enough?
