Changing Power Steering Fluid11 Jan 2009 08:35 GMT1
After an oil change today for my wife's 2000 Lincoln Continental with
107,000 miles on it, the service rep said that the power steering fluid
is starting to look dark and should be flushed out...an $84.00 job.
I don't think we've done this before on her 8-year old vehicle.
Shifter jumps out of 4WD11 Jan 2009 03:11 GMT4
A friend has a 1990 Chevy 4WD pickup.  I told him I'd try to help him
fix it, but I am not sure what the problem is either.  Does anyone

My son has a VW Golf that's about 15+ years old. He took it in for an oil
change about two weeks ago, and today his car was totally out of oil.
He brought it in to the place, and they said that the rear main seal was
shot, and that's why the oil was leaking. The cost to repair ...
Oil Life05 Jan 2009 14:55 GMT3
I have a friend who has a vehicle that is driven very sparingly.
Sometimes at the end of a six-month period, she has not accumulated
enough miles to reach the oil-change interval, but she will change the
oil anyway.

I've got to drive my 2001 Jeep in a special series of driving patterns
to get the computer data ready to be emission tested.
Does anyone know if 1) the steps in the pattern have to be in the
