| Lincoln Continental Steering | 30 Jul 2009 00:26 GMT | 1 |
The steering wheel on my 2000 Lincoln Continental with 116,000 miles makes a rubbing noise when turning right or left. It's noticeable at slower speeds. The power steering fluid level is fine. I'm thinking there's some kind of bushing in the steering system that's worn. The noise ...

| Ignition Problems | 30 Jul 2009 00:16 GMT | 3 |
I'm having trouble with the ignition of my Holden Rodeo Twin Cab Ute. I turn the key & it just clicks once, then nothing. Do that maybe 6 or 7 times & it may crank slowly for a second, then nothing. Do the click routine a few more times, then without any identifiable change,

| WHERE is the PS pump pivot bolt on a '93 Sentra? | 23 Jul 2009 02:17 GMT | 3 |
I thought I'd save some money buying and replacing three engine belts myself -- AC, PS/WP, and Alternator. The job turned out to be a lot harder than I imagined. Day 1. (Afternoon, actually; it's really hot out there.) The outermost

| Window Tint Jackass | 16 Jul 2009 05:43 GMT | 2 |
I don't know what came over my girlfriend, but a few days ago she decided to take her extremely nice BMW to a hole-in-the-wall shop to have the windows tinted. She didn't tell me until the day of the appointment. The guy charged like $100, which was my first clue that it wasn't ...

I have a 1988 Isuzu Trooper and the a/c compressor's clutch works normally for about a minute then it starts to weaken (it slows down) and it makes a streaking sound. Is this the sign of a worn a/c cluch bearing or will I have to replace the

| tire history | 12 Jul 2009 12:16 GMT | 4 |
I'm trying to research the history of rubber tire manufacturing in North America, and am searching for the corporate logo of a manufacturer called "OK Tires". The best information I have from memory is that it's the white letters "OK" surrounded by some colored bands of some kind, ...

| U.S. FUEL "ECONOMY" Is Way, Way In The Future! If Not Farther ... | 08 Jul 2009 16:33 GMT | 45 |
Forget "electric" cars for at least 15 years. Until then, it'll be gas-guzzlin' all the way! A one-dollar federal tax on gasoline would help solve the problem ... but it won't happen here in SUV-land.

| How many fires? (In the tank fuel pumps) | 02 Jul 2009 02:17 GMT | 3 |
I'm just curious. How many people burn to death in their cars every year, because of in the tank fuel pumps? I'm asking this because I just had one blow a line on top of the sending unit. In just a few seconds there was gas all over the place, coming out like a fountain.
