I've purchased a 2000 bmw 320ci with climate control...
The auto button has a green light  - is it always meant to be lit-up?  It
goes off when you adjust fans and if you specify circulation arrows.
However, the green light is on even if the auto is not displayed on the lcd

Any thoughts on why the car seems to "miss" at first start in the a.m.?
It runs very rough for the first 2m, then suddenly the RPMs increase, it
evens out and sounds like a kitten.
Once the car is warmed up, this is not an issue.
