Or, as Arthur Dent shrieked upon seeing a Vogon ship, "What the hell's that?" Seriously, though. I own a 1999 E36 M3 convertible with the HK stereo and I'm finally embarking upon a complete stereo redo--Brax amps, CDT

| E30 heavy steering | 29 Mar 2004 00:34 GMT | 3 |
It may be my imagination but my E30 325i sport seems to be getting a little heavier to steer. Tyre pressures are correct. Fluid and levels are OK. Is there a way to vary the level of assistance from the pump? Are there any parts in the steering system that can be lubricated?

I've taken my oldie into the shop for low-beam headlight funkiness. He's searching for a used part, so I haven't pushed this issue, but he was remiss to tell me which part exactly (it's a small town, he's probably just trying to "be gentlemanly" and not trouble me). But

| 2004 5-series owners? | 26 Mar 2004 22:23 GMT | 2 |
Considering a new 5-series, hoping I can afford a 530i, but might have to be a 525i. I have a '97 E420 right now, so I wish I could get a 545i, but there is no chance... I was just curious to hear some pros and cons on the cars from people who have owned them for several months ...
