| E60 Sales Figures | 09 May 2004 22:49 GMT | 52 |
I seem to remember a poster named Joe Masokin (my apologies for incorrect spelling) talking about how dismal sales for BMW's new designs was causing revisions and also was expected to cause major redesigns. Reading Bimmer Magazine last night I cam across this info, page 12, under

I'm looking at buying my first BMW. The car has 45K miles and appears to be in excellent condition. Is there anything in particular I should look for and what kind of gas mileage should I expect? What's the required octane rating? Thanks

| 330ci price | 09 May 2004 17:52 GMT | 2 |
I was recently quoted a price on a 2004 330ci with performance package for 7.50% under MSRP. I thought this was a pretty good deal as I did not think dealers were willing to go that much below MSRP. Is this typical in other people's dealings? The other odd thing is the dealer

| M3, CSL, whats next? | 09 May 2004 04:19 GMT | 3 |
Anyone know if there is likely to be any further developments in the near future? I'm playing with the idea of changing a 325 ci sport for an M3 convertable but don't want to jump them gun and get something thats likely to be superceded in the next 2 years?

Love to hear from the few of you who might have both, or have gone through the dilema of the 525/530 pricing decision... I have a limited budget, I can spend about $45K...gotta have xenons, steptronic (I commute a lot), and I guess leather or premium. I wish I could afford sport,

| OIl for 330dSE | 08 May 2004 12:02 GMT | 2 |
Hi, all. As per subject line, what is the correct oil for a 2001 330dSE? My local dealer says "they all take castrol SLX, sir", but refuses to be drawn on whether there are different oil grades for the diesel and petrol

I'm trying to install a wireless remote to activate door locks on my '91 535I and need to access wires in the "underdash panel" on the driver's side. I've removed the visible philips screws. one on the door side and 2 underneath. What else do I need to do to completely remove it?

| UK insurance query | 07 May 2004 22:17 GMT | 5 |
My 6 month old 320d SE has been rear-ended by a 4x4 whilst I was stationary. Although the repairs will be by a BMW main dealer bodyshop, there is a good chance that the resale value will be affected however good the repair (declaring accident damage). Has anyone successfully ...

| Thanks guys! More torque in an E39 520i | 07 May 2004 13:29 GMT | 5 |
Thanks for the assistance guys! Of course bigger engines have more torque than mine's 190 Nm... But, as our fellow Dave Plowman wrote, since one way of getting more torque is to alter valve timing, and since VANOS is about variable valve timing, I was

I'm completely new to the world of BMW but when my wife asked me to trade my care for something larger I though about the 7 series. I have a brother-in-law who has been driving a 728 for longet than I care to remember, so they obviously keep going. I discissed them with the ...
