I am getting a kind of whining noise at between 63mph and 73mph in my
year 2000 330D.  When accelerating and decellerating the noise stops, but
you can hear it when you are using just enough gas to keep the speed
constant.  It does this in 3rd, 4th and 5th gears at the same ...

Some time ago someone posted a web site that sold speedometer gears so that
one did not have to purchase an entirely new speedometer.
I saved the link (I thought) but cannot now find it.  I've searched google
with no good results.

I have water in the drivers footwell.  Cowling and sunroof drains appear to
work very well.  Wet spots appear from driving in  rain or with heavy
rainfall while parked.  I saw a drip come down the dead pedal once, and the
wet spot is directly below it.  Ideas?
