| 1993 525 tds stall problem | 20 Jul 2004 00:34 GMT | 2 |
A nice car and a good runner but it has this little occasional problem. On decelerating, braking and changing down at a junction (etc), there is a tendancy for the engine to stall. Any suggestions? (ask more questions if needed).

| ATF leak on E30 | 19 Jul 2004 19:00 GMT | 1 |
My '88 325i convertible recently started leaking auto trans fluid. The source of the leak looks like a cracked plastic connector where a cable enters the housing, just above the shift linkage. The Bentley manual seems to indicate (it is not perfectly clear) that

| E46 brake and oil flush after track; do-it-yourself or dealer? | 19 Jul 2004 17:00 GMT | 1 |
I've just pushed my '99 328i hard for the first time: two days on the track. I want to flush the brake and motor oil, but I'd like to know if I should do it myself or let my dealer handle it. The local BMW dealer is plenty competent, but I don't mind trying it myself if there

| 2005 3 series USA | 19 Jul 2004 16:36 GMT | 7 |
The sales man at my dealer said they were going to start manufacturing the 2005 3 series in August and it would basically be the same as the 2004. That is different than all the auto magazines that say the 2005 3 series will be resdesigned. Does anyone know the truth? He says the ...

Hey all, I got a 2003 325xi this year and I really like it. I kind of wish I had gotten a 330xi now, but its too late for that! I was digging around on the internet for information on supercharging. Does anyone here know anything about how a 325xi would do? I would think

| Battery Safety Terminal | 19 Jul 2004 08:00 GMT | 5 |
Will I be able to replace the BST myself on an E46 318 (1999)? It would save me a great deal if I could just buy one and replace it at home, without having to book the car in to a dealership.

I have BMW 525i 1993. I have found lately that in 3rd gear (automatic) the engine pings a bit. Is this normal. The car only has 63,000 miles and runs great - but the pinging is a bit annoying. Is it the gas? Tune up? Service? THANKS!
