I just purchased my first BMW.  I am trying to figure out what the
various vehicle options consisted of in 2002 models.  I got a vehicle
history report from my local dealer.  It states the car has the
following options:

I have closed EGR valve on my 318 td 1995 common rail 115 cv.....now the
engine is more ready from low range with high gears and there isn't more
smoke than first.
Can I have some problem to the engine with EGR closed?

I have just bought a 2000 540it, and it had a built-in phone, which is now
missing. BMW in Austin says that only an obsolete $400 AT&T phone will work
with the system.

Really interested in how people like driving with the new 6 sp MT in the
'04 330 and 530.  I've always thought the gear ratios in my 5sp 328 were
