I have closed EGR valve on my 318 td 1995 common rail 115 cv.....now the

Need phone for 2000 E3913 Sep 2004 22:22 GMT2
I have just bought a 2000 540it, and it had a built-in phone, which is now
missing. BMW in Austin says that only an obsolete $400 AT&T phone will work
with the system.
Any ideas on putting a current technology phone in this car?
What Size tires do you use on your E36?13 Sep 2004 19:45 GMT19
I have the E36 (325i) with the Sport Package 1, whatever that is. My car
came stock with the 225/55x15, and I have replaced them twice. I am
currently on the second set, and I think I am getting about 60k miles on
them. I am not concerned with the wear, but the price of these tires ...

My 1997 E36  intermittently makes a beeping sound ?  It seems to happen

99 E39 528i manual upshifting, high revs13 Sep 2004 15:13 GMT5
When upshifting while accelerating hard (manual transmission) sequence
follows: release gas pedal, engage clutch. At this point, especially if done
rapidly at around 5000 rpm, the engine will continue accelerating up to red
line (with clutch engaged) with no pressure on accelerator. ...
Cloth seat re-upholstery?13 Sep 2004 01:20 GMT1
The drivers seat on my '90 525i is starting to wear badly, and I am thinking
of getting the front seats redone.  Anyone have any experiences - either by
local shops (ie York, PA area) or kits that resemble OEM - that they can
share with me?  Not looking to spend a large amount, ...
BMW dealer stereotype heresy12 Sep 2004 21:02 GMT4
OK, everyone knows the stereotype of BMW dealers being at worse ass-holes and insufferable pricks and at best in serious need of tutelage from Lexus sales people.
So last Tuesday I park my LS400 at the Lexus dealer across the road and walk over to the used car lot at the BMW ...

New 6sp Manual Trans12 Sep 2004 01:16 GMT22
Really interested in how people like driving with the new 6 sp MT in the
'04 330 and 530.  I've always thought the gear ratios in my 5sp 328 were
just about perfect, so wondering how adding a 6th gear makes things
better.  Couple of questions

I have an 87 528e automatic trans with an interesting problem. While
driving home today from work, the hose running from thermostat to top

happened is the old plastic basically cracked free leaving the nozzle
