Normally I wouldn't consider such a silly thing, but... I have the opportunity to buy a very low mileage, early E36 318i coupe, in immaculate condition, for a very low price. I'm thinking it might be worth putting a Downing supercharger on. In total I will still have spent less ...

Looking at E39 530i Touring models - approx 3 years old - what does the panel consider to be the pros and cons of the SE and the Sport models? And SatNav on the E39 - just a gimmick or a worthwhile addition?

| Xi LSD? | 17 Nov 2004 12:28 GMT | 6 |
Does anyone know with any certainty whether or not E46 Xi vehicles are equipped with a rear LSD? After a number of autocross events in my '00 328Ci, I'm thinking that it really needs an LSD to put the power down properly. The DSC is too

| e34: service indicator lights | 16 Nov 2004 22:29 GMT | 23 |
i read up a few different ways of resetting service indicator lights and tried them out. I did the thing with making a jumper wire and grounding one of the pins (pin 7 for 3 secs, i think). this only half worked - the little clock icon on the dash has gone, but the service bars ...
