| 535i wandering | 28 Dec 2004 01:54 GMT | 5 |
My 88 E28 535i is wandering all over the road. It will drive straight, then if I ease left or right, it will turn smoothly then catch and veer sharper than the chosen course. Its going to the shop this week, just wondering what folks may think it is.

| SIM card for GSM Phone in '97 740i. | 27 Dec 2004 18:37 GMT | 12 |
I have just bought one of these, and the built in mobile phone (cellphone) has no simcard. I have established that it is the size of the bigger cards that modern sims come in, to be broken out and placed in your pocket size phone, but just sticking one of these large cards in

| Advice needed regarding 540 E39 | 27 Dec 2004 16:54 GMT | 2 |
I already had a 528 BMW a couple of years back but in 2002 I managed to destroy it. Now I want to get a 540. I'm debating between the 99, 2000 and 2001 models (UP to around 15000 Euro). Since most people here have quite in-depth knowledge about these cars, I was wondering if ...

| iPod and 2005 BMW 525i | 26 Dec 2004 02:22 GMT | 7 |
I have just purchased a 2005 525i. Does anyone know a third party kit that can be purchased to use the iPod with my car? I don't want to use the FM adapter that can be purchased for the iPod, not good reception. (I used my son's iPod and FM adapter) I don't have the nav system,

| 'Snatchy' clutch | 25 Dec 2004 21:07 GMT | 5 |
I seem to have developed a slightly 'snatchy' take up when pulling away from idle, so I have to put the revs to 1200-1500 before really gently letting out the clutch or I notice a couple of 'snatches' (and even doing this I can just about detect it). Only just started happening ...

| ATF in manual transmission?! | 25 Dec 2004 19:46 GMT | 9 |
The Bentley Z3 manual (page 230-1) claims that one is supposed to use ATF when replacing the transmission oil in a Z3 manual transmission. This seems very odd - I was expecting to see 75w90 or similar. Is the manual wrong?

| 2004 BMW 525i- Winter Mats keep moving near gas pedal! | 25 Dec 2004 19:28 GMT | 9 |
Hi, I recently bought a brand new 2004 BMW 525i. The winter mats that I bought- from the dealership- keep moving very close and at times on the gas pedal. I am very dissapointed with these mats- they have nearly caused me to have an accident! Has anyone else experienced these
